Guam - Legislation was introduced today that would improve services for those trying to obtain an intermediate driver's license. Senator Aline Yamashita authored bill 190, which would allow the Department of Revenue and Taxation to use private businesses to administer road tests for first time applicants. She says the measure will decrease the months-long wait list and will lessen the workload for the division of motor vehicles.
Yamashita states, "This bill provides the Department of Revenue & Taxation the authority to develop the standards and procedures required for small businesses to administer for the road test, as well as, encourages small business development."
