Guam - John Gerber's Inaugural Marine Corps Drive Memorial 5K Run was a success thanks to all of the sponsors and runners who came out and supported the event. The run started at the Governor's Complex in Adelup and went down to the Asan War Park and finished off back at the Governor's Complex.
The run will be held annually to help raise funds for the Pacific War Museum's daily operations. John was honored along with the 1,548 Marines who lost their lives while freeing Guam.
Brandon Fell crossed the line first with a time of 16:53 in the men's division; Marie Benito was the first female finisher with a time of 20:51.
