Guam - During the first day of their May Legislative Session, the 31st Guam Legislature confirmed twenty of the Governor's appointees. Here's the list:
 
1. Dr. Gayle F. Hendricks to serve as a member of the Guam Commission for Educator Certification.
Yea: 13, Nay: 0, Excused Absence: 2
 
2. Ms. Amanda L.G. Santos to serve as a member of the Chamorro Land Trust Commission.
Yea: 13, Nay: 0, Excused Absence: 2
 
3. Ms. Beatrice P. Limtiaco to serve as a member of the Guam Land Use Commission.
Yea: 13, Nay: 0, Excused Absence: 2
 
4. Mr. David E. Silva to serve as a member of the Guam Banking and Insurance Board.
Yea: 13, Nay: 0, Excused Absence: 2
 
5. Mr. Martin Benavente to serve as President of the Guam Housing Corporation.  
Yea: 13, Nay: 0, Excused Absence: 2
 
6. Mr. Tomas L.G. Flores to serve as a member of the Guam Housing Corporation Board of Directors.
Yea: 13, Nay: 0, Excused Absence: 2
 
7. Mr. John T. Calvo to serve as a member of the Hagatña Restoration & Redevelopment.

8. Mr. John M. Rupley to serve as a member of the Parks and Recreation Commission.

9. Mr. Ramon T. Topasna to serve as a member of the Parks and Recreation Commission.

12. Mr. Wilfred G. Aflague to serve as Director of the Department of Mental Health & Substance Abuse.
Yea: 12, Nay: 1, Excused Absence: 2 (Note: Vice Speaker BJ Cruz passed three times, which is a ‘no' vote.)
 
13. James W. Gillan to serve as Director of the Department of Public Health And Social Services.
Yea: 13, Nay: 0, Excused Absence: 2
 
14. Mr. Albert Gurusamy to serve as member, Guam Memorial Hospital Authority Board of Trustees.

21. Mr. Lee P. Webber to serve as a member of the Guam Memorial Hospital Authority Board of Trustees.

Dr. Kia Rahmani to serve as a member of the Guam Board of Medical Examiners was not moved to the Voting File, therefore, remains on the Legislative Concurrence File.
