Guam - Former Department of Labor alien labor certification and processing division administrator Linda San Nicolas is scheduled to be sentenced in the District Court tomorrow. Last year she pleaded guilty to accepting $16,000 in bribes.
During her time as head of the division, records for thousands of alien workers who came to Guam since 1998 mysteriously went missing from the department. Hundreds of pages were ripped out of the agency's official logbook that had an account of fees that had been generated for each alien worker on Guam.
The sentencing is scheduled for 9:30 Tuesday morning.
