Guam - District Court Magistrate Judge Joaquin Manibusan has granted the applications of two attorneys from a San Francisco firm that represents consumers in class action cases against banks and financial service companies. Attorneys Daniel Girard and David Stein of the Girard Gibbs law firm have been admitted to practice on Guam to represent island residents who are suing the government for unpaid tax refunds.
Rea and Jeffrey Paeste and Sharon Zapanta, through their local attorney Ignacio Aguigui, filed a class action lawsuit against the government seeking the immediate payment of more than $200,000,000 in owed refunds.
