Guam - Some new requirements for the Department of Education's management audit may be made if legislation introduced by Senator Tony Ada is signed into law. Bill 150 would require the department's next management audit to look into additional issues, such as evaluating board policies, practices and directives.
The measure would also require an assessment a broad range of management functions, examination of the school system's work environment and relationship with the community.
The legislation would require a report and evaluation on the degree of success DOE has made in implementing the recommendations and correcting deficiencies from the previous audit.
