Guam - The Guam Power Authority reports a pair of power outages for this Monday, April 18. GPA Spokesperson Art Perez says power will be out from 8am to 4pm for customers located by Old Varsity club location, Tenjo Vista in Sumay, Agat and other surrounding areas. Perez says U.S. Navy crews will be completing vegetation control work.

In the meantime, power will also be out from 9am to 1pm for customers living in Mama Sandy Street in Nimitz Hill and other surrounding areas. GPA line crews will be upgrading hardware equipment in the area.

Perez says the outages are necessary as a safety precaution to line crews as work is completed to improve power service to customers.
