Guam - If you've got concerns or suggestions on the future management of the Marinas Trench Marine National Monument you have until May 5 to submit your comments to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. The federal agencies are preparing a monument management plan and would like to hear from the public.
Despite opposition from several local fishermen and local leaders, before leaving office former President George W. Bush established the national monument under the authority of the Antiquities Act of 1906. For more information click here.
