Guam - Isaac Kaipat's sentencing was continued until next month. In December of last year, Kaipat was acquitted of negligent homicide, manslaughter and aggravated assault charges. He admitted to slapping Robert Blas at the former Club 7 Deuce.

The defense was able to show that Blas died from blunt force trauma to his head not from Kaipat's slap. The jury, however, found him guilty of misdemeanor assault.  According to the Alternate Public Defender's Office, prosecutors asked for a delay to allow the victim's mother to attend.

The sentencing was continued until May pending the completion of a pre-sentence report.
