Guam - Although Chamorro Month wrapped up last week, the Department of Land Management's Chamorro displays remain up symbolizing what team work can accomplish. Engineering aide Peter Damian Esteban said, "We actually we had no plan, we just came out and put everything together and everybody in the office put something in and this is how it turned out and as you can see it's really nice."

The department focused on ancient civilization creating various displays and a Chamorro hut. They are especially proud of the hut because no nails or wires were used. Esteban says it took about one week to complete, of course after working hours.

This morning, Governor Eddie Calvo stopped by and took a look at the Chamorro hut and displays and commended the staff for their hard work.
