Guam - It was so successful last year that the Guam Island Fiesta Tour will kick off once again with the Barrigada celebration of San Vicente Ferrer. According to a press release, GIFT, sponsored by the Guam Visitors Bureau in partnership with the Mayors Council of Guam and Lamlam Tours, is an opportunity to share the Chamorro culture with tourist groups who likely would never get to experience the hundreds of years old local tradition.

GVB offers grants to qualified families that are nominated by their village mayor to help with the cost of food and activities associated with hosting up to 150 visitors. This year, GIFT will also participate in fiestas in Inarajan, Merizo, Santa Rita, Agat, Mangilao, and Dededo.
