Guam - The public can now provide input on the identification and evaluation of historic properties for proposed actions related to the Marine Corps' relocation from Okinawa to Guam. Naval Facilities Engineering Command Pacific announced it is accepting public comments.
The cultural resources information web site, as we reported, was posted earlier this month, to allow the public an opportunity to comment on historic properties that could be impacted during the build-up process. The web site also included documentation regarding the Navy's identification and evaluation process for various projects.
Mail-in comment forms are available at the Guam State Historic Preservation Office. Comments can also be provided directly to the Navy by logging on to the Cultural Resources Information web site.
