Guam - Hundreds of people, including Governor Eddie Calvo, flooded GPO on Sunday, to get haircuts from the island's best stylists and to help Japan. First Lady Christine Calvo, teamed up with Guam's hair stylists for "Cuts for a Cause," an event where people donated money to the American Red Cross in exchange for haircuts.
More than $2,000 in all was raised.
Meanwhile, they are still accepting donations on behalf of the American Red Cross. Checks can be made payable to American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. In order for these donations to directly benefit the Japanese people, all memo lines on checks must include "Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami."
