Guam - A decision and judgment for the four police officers that were stripped of their badges and guns last November will be presented to the Civil Service Commission on Tuesday. GPD Captain Mark Charfauros, Officers Tracey Volta, J.P. Duenas and Jeffrey Santos were demoted to civilian status after the department said they failed to meet the necessary requirements when they were rehired with the force.
The officers' badges and guns have since been returned, and the Attorney General's Office has been working to dismiss the case stating GPD did not follow proper procedures.
The hearing is scheduled for 5:45pm tomorrow at the CSC's boardroom at the ITC Building in Tamuning.
