Guam - Several members of the island's public and private sector have partnered to hold a prayer vigil tomorrow evening. According to Guam Visitors Bureau general manager Gerry Perez, while everyone is encouraged to continue giving monetary donations, the prayer vigil is another way we can all join together to help the victims in Japan.
He adds, "We have many staff, friends and family who know those who have been affected and our hearts go out to our partners in Japan as they continue the recovery process following this great tragedy". The vigil will be held tomorrow evening at 6pm at the Ypao Beach Park.
Candles will be sold for a $1 donation. All proceeds will go toward the Japan Club of Guam.
