Guam - The Ylig Bridge boat ramp will be closed temporarily starting on Monday while the contractor begins stage construction work for the replacement of the Ylig River Bridge in Yona. The federally-funded project was awarded to Smithbridge Guam to include the construction of a new bridge.

Safety improvements to the bridge include enhanced concrete bridge rails, and smooth bridge deck. It's estimated that the ramp will remain closed through December 2011 for recreational water use.
