Delinquent utility accounts will be cut off

Posted: Updated:

by Nick Delgado

Guam - The Guam Power and Guam Waterworks are pulling the plug on delinquent accounts this week. Specifically, the former utility agency starting tomorrow will be disconnecting customers who are 30 days or more past due in Yigo, Latte Heights and Barrigada Heights.

The Guam Waterworks Authority, however, will start disconnecting past due accounts islandwide. You're advised to pay a visit to customer service as soon as possible. Keep in mind that disconnected accounts could take longer than 24 hours to be reconnected because of the high volume of delinquent accounts.
