Guam - A total of seven people were arrested in connection with the disturbance in Yona over the weekend. Police late Tuesday afternoon arrested the parents of the minor charged in the incident.

Franklin Cruz Pangelinan, 43, and Annette Taisipic Muna, 42, of Dededo were booked and released on charges of guilt established by complicity and jurisdiction over an adult. A 16-year-old boy, who police say may be charged as an adult, was confined at the Department of Youth Affairs on charges of aggravated assault, reckless conduct, rioting, disorderly conduct, hindering apprehension and criminal facilitation.

Additionally, 23-year-old Norbert John Balajadia, 22-year-old Jonathan Manila, 23-year-old Justin Ray Manila and William Pangelinan Delorie of Yona were arrested for rioting. Police believe a 48-year-old man in critical condition at Naval Hospital crashed his all terrain vehicle on Sister Eucharita Street in Yona Saturday night as a result of the riot.
