Guam - Creations Salon, Marianas Variety and Instant Copy presented a check to the Edward M. Calvo Cancer Foundation's Marie Calvo Monge this morning. The money was from the proceeds raised as part of the salon's "Cuts for Cancer" fundraising event.

Hannah Tajalle Tosco with Creations told KUAM News, "In doing this it was our first run, so everything went really smooth for being our first event we had a lot of anonymous supporters that had helped because we had mentioned for like a month to get it started, so a lot of people clients and family and friends of those who suffered from cancer, they were very appreciative of us doing this for the community."

Cuts for Cancer raised over $3,000 and according to Tosco, Creations plans to make the fundraiser an annual event to benefit local cancer patients. Another check was presented to the Guam chapter of the American Cancer Society.
