Guam - The Guam Fire Department responded to an auto-bus accident along Route 8 in Barrigada this afternoon. Officials report that the bus, which is carrying students from JFK High School, was making a left turn out of Tiyan when it collided with a car.

GFD Spokesperson Captain Andy Arceo says the accident was classified as minor and no injuries have been reported yet.

DOE deputy superintendent Arlene Unpingco says they are in communication with DPW bus operations regarding the accident. She says no students were injured and another bus was sent en route to pick up the students. Unpingco says she was assured by Bus Operations superintendent Frank Taitano that he will look into the incident.
