Guam - Barrigada mayor Jessie Palican says the meeting with the Department of Public Works regarding the tri-intersection area was a success. He says businesses and residents expressed their concerns with the constant delays the project has been experiencing. Construction on the project is not expected to be completed until September.

Palican says he is still working on implementing the bypass lane through Tiyan to alleviate problems with traffic congestion. "I'm hoping that one we still pursue access into Tiyan, two if we need to sit with the governor and lieutenant governor to see if it's a possibility to have staggered hours for those who use the tri-intersection with the government employees that use that intersection."
