Guam - The 4th Guam Steering and Planning Committee met today to discuss the plans for the 7th Annual Micronesian Youth Services Network Regional Conference. The event is scheduled for next month and hopes to bring participants from throughout the region to promote positive youth developments.

This year's theme is "Police and Practice: Raising the Bar in Youth Services". Committee secretariat Sarah Thomas-Nededog told KUAM News, "We talk about strategies and new best practices and we talk about ways in which we individually and collectively can advocate for policy and for practices so that we can in fact raise the bar in youth services throughout Micronesia."

The conference will be held from March 19-23 at the Marriott Resort.
