Guam - Former Department of Education superintendent Luis Reyes says he will have to wait another 30 days to find out if he can get the money for his wrongful termination case. Reyes is trying to address the readjustment of the retirement annuity he says is owed to him.
The court ordered the cash-strapped agency to pay Reyes two years ago. He is owed $250,000 plus 6% annual interest, along with the retirement pay. The Education Board fired Reyes in 2008 following the closure of Southern High School by the Health and Safety Task Force.
