Guam - This Saturday marks the 66th anniversary of the American Invasion of Iwo Jima. In observance of this historic event the National Park Service is hosting another Movie in the Park program this Saturday at Asan Beach. The program features an Academy Award-winning film that dramatically portrays the battle from the Japanese perspective.
It is rated "R" due to graphic violence, so parental discretion is strongly advised. Due to licensing restrictions, the park is unable to publicize the name of the movie.
