Guam - The "Hita Santa Rita" village mural was unveiled this morning as part of the Guam Visitors Bureau's "We Are Guam" campaign. Phill and Ann card are the artists of the piece, which includes images from pre-World War II days in Sumay. In addition, it displayed the scenic Namo Falls and the Our Lady of Guadalupe Church.
Phill Card says in interviewing the man'amko in the village, he says many of them shared their stories from when they once lived in Sumay. He says he's happy to have helped with this village project. The mural is located at a private residence in Santa Rita.
