Guam - Three people are being evaluated at the Guam Memorial Hospital following a serious accident that took place at around 5:30 Sunday evening. According to Guam Police Department Spokesperson Officer A.J Balajadia, officers were called to an accident where a green RAV-4 ran off the roadway along Route 4 by McDonald's in Hagatna.

Balajadia says a witness who saw the crash was heading toward Hagatna on the inner lane when the RAV-4 passed him and ran off the roadway, causing the vehicle to flip three times and stuck a concrete pole. Guam Fire Department personnel used the Jaws of Life to free the individuals in the car. He says GPD's Highway Patrol Division has been activated and will conduct follow up interviews with the driver.

For the time being, GMH nursing supervisor Sally Quichocho says three people were brought in a 22-year-old female, a 19-year-old female and a 24-year-old male individual. Quichocho says all three are being evaluated in the emergency room. Their conditions are unknown at this time.
