FD pounds GW in rugby 33-5

Guam - The George Washington Geckos took to their home field against the Father Duenas Friars in boys high school rugby. GW got on board first after the throw in by the Friars was picked off deep in their own territory. The Friars answered with a try of their own when, tying the game at 5.

Ryan Abdullah gave the Friars the lead after the kick attempt was good. Joe Calvo added to the Friars lead taking the ball from the scrum and pounding his way through two defenders for another try. Abdullah was money again for the kick after. FD attacked in the 2nd half, using their speed and power to bring the ball in scoring position; Joe Calvo picked the ball up, broke a tackle and gained more positive yards before finally getting tackled by the defense.

The Friars would score the last try for FD as they went on to win 33-5.
