Guam - The Port Authority of Guam's board of directors canceled its meeting for this month due to a lack of board members. Several members from the previous board were relieved of duty according to agency spokesperson Bernadette Meno. She adds that they have sent several names through the Governor's Office to the Senator Tom Ada for confirmation.
They are Dan Tydingco, Ed Ilao and Mike Benito. Meno says those members must first complete the confirmation process before the board can hold its next meeting.
In the meantime, Senator Ada says a confirmation hearing has been scheduled for the Port nominees for February 9.
