Won Pat produces weekly radio address

by Sabrina Salas Matanane

Guam - Speaker Judi Won Pat delivered her first weekly radio address this morning on KUAM Radio on Isla63-AM. Her address focused on a spirit of partnership and the hard work of the 31st Guam Legislature, which commemorates one month on the job tomorrow.

On the issue of Pagat the speaker wanted to make it clear that the Department of Defense is moving forward in its plans to build a firing complex in Pagat, adding,"They will fire their weapons, including submachine guns, and grenades directly over an ancient Chamorro village and burial grounds in the Pagat area."

The Speaker added senators have made it clear to all concerned that they will stand firm in protecting and promoting the culture, heritage and natural resources of the People of Guam.
