Guam - Horizon Lines Inc. will be increasing its fuel surcharge rate for services between Guam and the U.S. mainland by the end of this month. The Honolulu Star-Advertiser reports that the shipping company will increase the rate by 4.75%. The current rate is 23.25%, but that it is expected to go up to 28% on February 27.
Just this past weekend Maston announced that it too will be raising its rates by the same amount and that it will take effect on the same date.
