Guam - Studies are being conducted on the F-5 Wharf at the Port Authority of Guam. During a recent underwater inspection, the agency's insurance company required operational changes be implemented as a preventative measure to reduce the risk of further damage.
Port General Manager Pedro Leon Guerrero says the alteration of operations to other wharfs will not disrupt the flow of goods into the island. Consultant Parsons Brinckerhoff is conducting further testing and results are expected back in the next few weeks.
