Guam - In the Miller Football League season opener between the defending champs Shell Hal's Angels and Cars Plus Rams, Angels quarterback Steve Phillips got picked off by Chris Santos who follows his blockers to put the Rams in good Field position in the 3rd quarter. That was good for 42-yards. With the score still 0-0 Brant McCreadie hits Nate Baza on a 14-yard slant to give the Rams the 6-0 lead after the PAT was no good.

The Angels look to get on board with time winding down in the 4th, Steve Phillips finds Jared Ada in the left corner of the end zone to set up first and goal. SP and the offense would punch it in from a yard out to tie the game at 6 eventually sending the game into overtime. The weather played a big factor in yesterday's game as both teams were unable to convert on extra points or field goal attempts. In OT last years champions looked to get into the end zone when Trevin Jones picked off another Steve Phillips pass and picks up a couple of yards.

That set up Anthony Veimana at the goal line, he takes it in for was the game-winning touchdown in triple overtime for the 12-6 win.
