Guam - The U.S. Department of Education is giving high marks to Guam DOE chief auditor Lester Kuykendall and internal auditor Al Erguiza for carrying out the critical responsibility of submitting monthly expenditure reports that are required by the special conditions placed on all of the local agency's federal grants.
A letter from USDOE's Phil Maestri states the efforts have resulted in DOE continuing to gain access to available stimulus funding. He also thanked the pair for their hard work on behalf of the thousands of public school students on Guam.
