Guam - A private investigator who was convicted of theft by deception is serving his court ordered 60 days behind bars. But Albert Topasna didn't voluntarily self-surrender as he was ordered last October. Instead a warrant was issued by a judge and Topasna has been behind bars awaiting a hearing before Judge Michael Bordallo on February 1.
It's unclear whether Topasna will have to serve the full five years he was sentenced to serve in prison because of his failure to surrender as ordered by the court. Topasna had all but 60 days suspended. He was convicted of selling land that he neither owned nor had rights to.
