Guam - Adelup made the push for the restoration and redevelopment of Hagatna during a pair of meetings held today. The first was before the Army Corps of Engineers, where Governor Eddie Calvo stated that he would be directing his administration to actively collaborate with the Corps to complete the planning and begin work on projects dealing with the Hagatna River and nearby areas.
The island's chief executive also met with the Western Pacific Regional Fishery Management Council, where the discussion highlighted funds available to construct a marina and recreational fishing platform in the island's capital. The Administration states that it will finish a marine conservation plan to secure about $1 million for the various project.
