Guam - Public Works is looking for professional engineering services for the construction of the Tiyan Parkway. The Federal Aviation Administration has been pushing for a road that will run through Guam International Airport Authority property. According to the RFP for phase one of the project, the roadway will start from the Route 8 across the street from Cars Plus to the existing Sunset Boulevard adjacent to Block 16 of the former Naval Air Station.
The goal of the project is to construct a new arterial parkway road to replace Central Avenue when it is closed to accommodate improvements to the airport runway. The deadline to respond to the RFP is February 15.
