Hearing set for animal cruelty bill

Guam - The Guam Legislature is expected to receive testimony this week on Bill 9 relative to laws pertaining to animal care and cruelty on island. The bill was introduced by Democrat senator Judi Guthertz and the intent is to strengthen punishment laws for negligence, or harm to animals.

The hearing will be held on Tuesday beginning at 9:30am at the Guam Legislature in Hagatna.
