Guam - The governor today declared the month of January as "Slavery and Human Trafficking Month" as well as "Stalking Awareness Month". Guam Attorney General Lenny Rapadas says it's important the community learn about these two crimes that he says too often go unreported.
"While they are separate crimes they are hidden crimes and it takes a large community to understand that it exists," he said. Rapadas adds that there will be a public outreach event on human trafficking held tomorrow from 10am to 2pm at the Guam Premiere Outlets in Tamuning.
