Guam - Public safety oversight chairman Senator Adolpho Palacios says he will be introducing a replacement bill to his legislation that deals with the construction of a joint public safety headquarters. Bill 21 would provide a permanent facility for the Guam Police and Guam Fire Departments. Palacios says the measure lacks a conceptual design of the facility, and he says he will be meeting with the chief's of both agencies to get those plans.
He adds that the bill needs to identify all sources of funding available such as the police service fund and the flame fund. Palacios says the replacement bill would prevent any complications as well as substantial amendments once it hits the session floor.
