by Dave Delgado

Guam - Japan Super Bike 1000 Champion Kouske Akiyoshi is on island for training and conditioning. Akiyoshi celebrated his birthday last night at an autograph signing at Cars Plus in Maite.

Kouske is a professional rider for Team HRC/TRS Honda in Japan and got his first start in the sport back in 1983 when he was 8 years old on a pocket bike. Last year he was the All Japan Road Race Champion and has accumulated numerous top finishes through out his career.

The Japan Pro enjoys playing Golf and said that he also races cars. Akiyoshi loves the weather here on Guam and will be back next month for more training as he prepares for Moto Grand Prix Season.
