Guam - Supreme Court of Guam Justice Philip Carbullido will once again be the head of the island's Judiciary. The three justices voted on who would replace current chief justice Robert Torres, whose term expires next Tuesday. Carbullido was unanimously elected to take the helm again.
He previously served as chief justice from 2003-2008.
According to a release from the Judiciary, Carbullido looks forward to assuming the leadership role once again and despite the government wide-financial deficit, he is confident about the future of the courts of justice.
