Guam - It looks like the government will have until the end of the month to sign the Programmatic Agreement. The U.S. Navy granted the Calvo Administration's request for an extension. The military gave GovGuam until this Friday to sign it. The PA provides an outline of how historical properties will be handled during the military buildup.

The new deadline is January 31.

Meanwhile, Governor Eddie Calvo also corrects media reports regarding the Historic Preservation board and Pagat, saying he has not called for any resignations from the board, his policy on Pagat has not changed, and his policy on the Guam First Commission has not changed.
