Guam - Hundreds of runners showed up for the 2011 Spirit Run 5K Run/Walk at Ypao Beach. The race started in front of GVB in Tumon and ended down the hill next to GVB towards Ypao Beach.

Race coordinator John Leon Guerrero, "We have over 500 participants and the race course is coming from the GVB side hill next to Ypao all the way down to Hyatt and back. We would like to thank everyone for coming out and we really appreciate it for the Blessed Diego Church. The sponsors for this year are Tanota Partners, Bank of Guam and DFS Group.

"Once again, we have a lot of volunteers helping out with the race and I would like to thank them for coming out and helping. I would also like to thank Father Lito for being our pastor."
