DOE lunches increase by $0.50

Guam - The price for lunches at the island's public schools has gone up by $0.50 for the New Year. The Guam Education Policy Board approved the recommendation last year to raise the prices for breakfast and lunch.

The first increase on meals took place last year. The cost for lunch is now $2, with the increase taking effect today.
