Guam - It appears the Attorney General's Office won't be relying on a plea agreement that was drafted back in January during a raid at Gajo and Son's Body Shop. Kenrick Gajo pleaded not guilty to drug charges in the Superior Court of Guam today, waiving his right to a speedy trial.
While he was released on a $10,000 performance bond, Judge Alberto Tolentino banned him from possessing a firearm, and consuming drugs or alcohol. Gajo originally entered into a plea deal agreeing to cooperate with authorities and disclose his drug sources and cohorts, as well as information he said he had about an unsolved homicide in exchange for not spending any time in jail.
He also gave authorities more than $170,000 in drug proceeds. A status hearing has been set for January 12.
