Guam - Child Protective Services provides care for the youth that come from violent homes. Guam has more than 200 foster children to date. And to help deal with the stressful environment the CPS staff created a holiday getaway in their offices. Displaying themes such as Santa's Workshop, Twas' the Night Before Christmas and an island theme, investigative social worker Maeleen Sanchez says they mostly do it for the children.
"This really does help us with the kind of work that we do, it really does bring us some spirit into what we do so that we can continue to go out and do the type of work we do," she told KUAM News.
