Guam - While it was a struggle to meet payroll for the Department of Education last pay period, all DOE employees were paid today.  Governor's deputy chief of staff Shawn Gumataotao says full gross payroll was met and all of the deductions that were owed to employees have been paid up.

Gumataotao says collections for the month of December are 30% above projects allowing the government to meet its payroll needs.  For now government officials are monitoring the financial situation on a daily basis and working to pay various vendors.
