Homage paid to Greg Flores, David Lujan

by Mindy Aguon

Guam - The Guam Council on the Arts and Humanities Agency has teamed up with several artist organizations to host a candlelight art memorial in honor of renowned caricature artist Greg Flores and David Lujan, the latter of whom was a member of Ginen I Hila' Maga'taotao Siha storytelling group.

Both Flores and Lujan were active artists in the community before their passing and a special tribute will be made in their honor. The art memorial will be held on Sunday, December 26 at 7pm at the Guam Gallery of Arts at Chamorro Village in Hagatna. Organizers of the event have asked that those who had caricature renderings done by Flores to submit digital copies to so that they can be used in a memorial slideshow.
