Guam - The Yigo Mayor's Office, along with International Bridge Corporation is clearing the jungle area behind F.B. Leon Guerrero Middle School and Simon Sanchez High School. The land was determined to be Department of Education property. Concerns were raised in the past after students, also known as 'The Outgaters', would skip school and throw rocks to anyone they see.

Yigo mayor Bob Lizama says, "Initially we were supposed to start today. However, they wanted to make good use of the equipment that was mobilized since Saturday and they started work on Sunday. In fact, we're now completed with the FB fence area. We are now working on Simon Sanchez High School side," he said.

Lizama says if the clearing isn't completed by today, he says it will be done by tomorrow.
