Guam - While arrests have been made and more interviews are being conducted regarding the students at F.B. Leon Guerrero Middle School known as 'The Outgaters', Yigo mayor Bob Lizama is stepping in to ensure continued safety at the northern campus.

The mayor is working with the Department of Education, school administration from FBLG and Simon Sanchez High School, as well as officials with International Bridge Corporation to clear up all vegetation behind the two schools beginning Monday.

Lizama is advising surrounding residents that heavy equipment will be in operation and that the area will be off limits during the clearing period.
